So much has changed in technology since Y2K...: I'm a tech geek, so I know the high-tech evolution from 1999 onward has been pretty scary in some ways. When I started playing and making music circa 1999. We had Windows 98 and 56K modem on crappy PC's. And there was no such thing as an iPod yet. Hell! Putting your music and band online was less accessible. There wasn't even Facebook or YouTube yet! I had to make demos on those old 4-track Tascam's to create music when I had obviously no money to do it in the real studio. As of 2012, we've came a pretty long way technically. It took me about 10 or 11 years to be somewhat accepted in rock.: In the 11 years I was doing this recording and amateurishly playing music kind of thing, technically my merits or potential didn't start really having a form of recognition until the second half of 2011. Around the time I graduated college! It might have been belated, but the timing was right too. I spent most of the 2000s catching up with others and fending for myself.
