I might be playing a surprise gig tomorrow @ CSUEB!: Hey guys and gals, Patrick Lew here. When I was talking across the campus here at school today, I witnessed a flyer on the blackboard in the library advertising a Valentines Day open mic event tomorrow at 5pm at CSU East Bay. The thought just came to my head, DAMN! I really want to play music onstage now regardless of haters, my musical limitations and everything else. I just wanna be a REAL musician and go out there and play a gig regardless if it's small or in some cafeteria room on campus at school. So heads up! I am planning to bring my guitar, small Danelctro mini amp and dig...

whatever: what ever it takes to get there I use chunks pieces loops actual musicians mechanical voices and good enough works for me. most times I churn out one of these bombs in about an hour or so "when I am inspired" they are not professional by any reckoning. I like doing it! I like being off a bit. close is better than perfect. the morning news causes a lot of them and old cartoons abstract thought are all in this stuff. and opinions yep I got em. most are oddindeed. I am a hillbilly grew up on a ranch in northern California. a real ranch with horses "hundreds of them". we shot deer from off th...

I have the freedom of creating music at home and using my computer to make it or promote it via Internet. I do however, want FAME with my music. Not MONEY. I never thought of doing music for profit. I am against corrupt companies like Viacom in media. I also, hated the fact if I get signed to a major record label and ...
