Where was I...?: HOLY... What a life I lead. Since last March I've been busy with moving. Being responsible for an elderly, disabled and increasingly senile mother and seven (that's right, 7) cats is a 24/7/365 thing. I was offline most of the time since April 1st - I was running Windows ME on an old Compaq with dial-up, and I let everything languish. Then I bought me a spankin' new iMac and slipped into a broadband connection, and I've been configuring and tweaking until recently. I finally reconnected with Soundclick, and I found I really missed being able to access so much excellent music that unfortunately...

new nylon string acoustic/electric: is on order. It was getting a bit frustrating trying to play my old Yamaha G100A after all these years of owning it. Ever since one of my son's decided to put steel strings on it back in the 80's, it just never quite played right again. I was able to straighten out the neck by using a damp rag and clamping a steel bar on the fret board tightening it slowly as time went by. But the closer I got to the 12 th fret (octaves), the further it became out of tune. Strings didn't matter much as I tried them all and even the best and most expensive ones out there.
