Time: As the song goes; "time keeps on slipping, slipping in to the future". What is it about time lately? We just don't seem to have enough of it. Have the days, weeks and months become shorter? Don't we have 24 hr days , 7 day weeks, 12 month years anymore? Even with more daylight in the summer months just doesn't seem to fit the bill anymore. Is it that we have become so engulfed in all of the electronic gadgets and the internet that we lose track of time totally? We spend hours and hours, twittering and keeping in touch with friends on Face Book and MySpace and other social sites that we find...
new old tune: it wasn't easy but I did manage to record an older tune I did a few years ago on the electric guitar. This time I pulled out the old nylon string guitar, got the gang together and did some recording. It took about 8 hours including going over it a few times before the actual recording. The tune is called "Day Trip." There were no months or weeks of practice or figuring out how it was going to go. We simply got together and just played it just to get the feel for it and then recorded it. It's always so nice to play with some seasoned musicians who actually know what they're doing from get go. ...
