Soundclick veteran and my friend Roscoe to join Your Audio 2 Riot: Well. I built a networking on Soundclick of many great musicians. And turns out, Rascal Theorist's main guy Roscoe Foster is one of them and also my good friend and supporter. We're basically having this idea of doing an online musical collaboration for a side project possible. We were talking about it on IM on Facebook earlier. So I got this idea with him to revise and go back to the basics of one of my projects, Your Audio 2 Riot. He is intending, which I agree always, to take and add new elements to Your Audio 2 Riot's music. And we both toasted to our mug of Beer and Pepsi to the idea. ...
RAPSTER INTERVIEW.. part 2..: by that time Sly Stone had become very big and he was from my hometown... had the same JC music teacher - David Frohlich - Sly mentioned him once on the Dick Cavett show - I was so proud... anyway then came jazz guitar... at UC Sonoma I majored in psychology and jazz ! I became a professional student because how many years does it take to learn everything there is to know music? So then I got into classical guirar... played for my diploma recital all 4 Bach lute suites! Then I became a composer... modern classical chamber music... won 3 awards... but my music was too tame for the Avante-Gardis...
It's been a while: since I've blogged here. I have been in contact with my ex, and since we both have a tremendous love of music, it's been a great time of catching up and learning what's new with each of us. He told me that he had saved the beginning words of a song I had started in the early 70's, and has challenged me to finish it. So, this morning, after much writing down, yes, for this, no for that, and realizing the song had a progression of our lives, I put it in order and sent it off to him. Now he is busy working on the song part. We are going to include my brother in this, playing guitar. Hopeful...
