Genisia Green, a young sensational new Christian R&B artist hitting the scene with a undeniable passion for music. The self acclaimed Dreamer Turned Believer was born September 28, 1990. She is a true southern girl raised in Jacksonville, Florida. At the delicate age of 12, Genisia discovered her affection for musicand begansinging and within a couple of years ventured into song writing. Genisia says I have a fun personality and I play that up in my songs. Shes highly motivated to achieve everyone of her goals with BIG dreams for the future. Shes inspired by artist like Aaliyah, Brandi Carlile and Michael Jackson and christian artist like Mali Music and Jamie Grace . Currently she is College Honor Student at the University of South Florida pursuing one of hergoals of becoming a college graduate. Although still in school, music is her passion, Genisia says Music is my ministry. It allows me to glorify God, and tell people about the gospel and his greatness. She goes on to say, I have such a burden in my heart for young people. I feel as though this generation is so lost and longing for love. Theres a Jesus shaped hole in their heart that only God can fill. She is working hard on building her craft by writing a song everyday and learning new instruments.
