His name is Derrick Lang, which goes by Genesis. He is 15 years old and he writes his own rap music, performs vocals and creates his own instrumentals. He DJ's all his school dances and has created a studio in his home where he records most of his songs.

What equipment do you use?
Basically I have a entire studio built in my house. I have a 17 Input Mixer, Digital DJ Station, Turntables, Condenser Mic, Edirol Speakers & Sub-Woofer, Casio Midi Keyboard, 3 Computers. Some software I use are: FL Studio 6 Producer Edition, Sony Acid Music Studio 5, Sony SoundForge Audio Studio, Pro Edit 2.0, and Pro Tools XP 2003.
