Have you performed in front of an audience?
I like to play live, if it's electronic or acoustic. I've played guitar, bass and did programming for many bands in D.C., mostly hardcore groups, been front-man for a few college bands, but what I like to do more than anything is to play my 12 string and sing to flocks of sorority girls. I don't know why, but they REALLY eat it up...but you gotta be good...and you gotta have "it". Being able to captivate hundreds of beautiful women with pounding arrogant dance music...it's possible! My music is electronic, but can also sound great stripped down with just me and my acoustic. The fact that technology has evolved so fast, it gives me room to have 100%input into every song I write. I program and perform all the parts for the songs...and I like the fact that i don't have to boss anyone around but myself. I can perform all my songs live, because I know many musicians locally, and of course..they wanna piece of the action (the chicks)..
Your musical influences
I love Sublime, and the voice of Bradley Nowell..John Mayer and Dave Matthews are favorites. I've covered all 3 of those artists multiple times..but recently I've been into trance and emo bands like Panic at the Disco and AFI
What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk, Acid Music, Midi, Garageband
Anything else?
Old beat up Les Pauls, Fender basses, tons of reverb and a Macbook Pro...oh and a cheap ass Radio Shack microphone that somehow sounds great. No pops and no distortion. It's a secret=)
