Summoned from the depths of San Pedro California in May of 2004. Gatekeeper was born. From the minds of Jacob Enfinger(vokills), Lars Stenbakken(guitar), Andrew Short(Bass), and Nick Ursich(drums), the four joined forces merging together a very diverse inspiration to create a truly unique beast. Choosing not to label themselves and create under no guidelines but to challenge and change, thus creating a growing technicality and lyrical onslaught on all infectious beings. Gatekeeper stands strong against all hypocritical sheeplike minds. Doing things their own way, aiming to create a scene of their own more so than trying to "join in." Successful thus far uniting like minded individuals, representing more of a family than a fan-base. Extreme loyalty coming from both ends, support is shown show after show as the growing legion gathers to take part in a most unique and psychotic live experience. Blitzkrieg would be the only appropriate word for describing its madness, when together the band and crowd turn to a joint force creating sights unspeakable. Playing southern californias most well known and unknown clubs, countless shows, and extreme self dedication and promotion. This fast growing monster known as Gatekeeper is here to stay. With refusal to be slowed down or distracted. Until this mission completes there will be no signs of mercy.
