I am a songwriter and I write because it is there and I can. I write a mixture of silly love songs and social comment as I think we need both.Band/artist history
Gary Yeomans lives in Sydney Australia. He started his career in New Zealand, working solo as a folk rock singer Sunday to Wednesday and fronting a five piece rock band Thursday through Saturday.
The song writing interest really started on moving to Sydney where he continued to play the club and pub circuit. I can still remember the first time I heard something of mine on the radio says Gary it was actually a country song which is not my normal thing, but I had a request from a publisher I was writing on assignment for, it all happened quite quickly, all of a sudden I was just doing it.
In the late eighties Gary took a break from music to concentrate on business interests, however he kept his hand in by writing the music for TV adds and audio visuals he produced.
On coming back to music Gary installed a hard disk recording studio at homeHave you performed in front of an audience?Very Very occasionally but not the six gig a week grind we used to do, so when I do it I have a good time that is everything now.

Who plays the piano so beautifully? any credits?
Merry Christmas, Gary...pray all is well with you and your loved ones...I've been listening in on "I am you" (the piano is nicely redone...much more from the heart IMO) and "Sorry" (makes me cry)....love your songs.
