Iam a Nashville recording artist.I have recorded three cds which have been getting worldwide airplay.I have charted in several different world charts with my music and recieved numerous awards.I now reside in Arkansas where Iam trying to further my career in music.Band/artist history
1970's - sang at Mickey Gilley's in Texas
Since then Gary has opened up for many National Acts such as:
Charlie Pride, Conway Twitty, Grandpa Jones, Linda Gail Lewis(Jerry Lee Lewis' sister)
Bobby Memphis(Elvis Impersonator), Kenny Roberts,
LeRoy VanDyke, and Jett Williams.
1980"s - Recieved awards for song writing from different talent agencies sang with different bands from NY, Florida, and Texas
1987 - opened for Dan Seals
1990's - put together my own band "Midway", which I opened for different Nashville acts like: Kenny Roberts, Johnny Paycheck, Hank Williams III, and others
1994 - opened for John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.
2000 - opened for Jimmy Vanzant, David Crosby, and other national rockers at a Harley Davidson Rendevous.
2001 Inducted in the Hall Of Honors in the New York State Country Music Hall Of Fame
2004 - Opened up for Melvin Seals of The Greatful Dead and The Jerry Garcia Band.
2005 Nominated for The Trailblazer Award out of Texas.
2005 Inducted in the New York State Country Music Hall Of Fame with Brian Prout of Diamond Rio and Victoria Shaw a very well known top songwriter and artist from Nashville.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play bars,partys,weddings etc. around Tx,Ar.,and Mo.Iam happy anywhere Iam entertaining others with music.
