Band/artist history

Started playing and writing at age 13 while living on an island in Alaska (military brat). Did the traditional high school rock band thing and later ended up as guitarist and vocalist for the USAF Band.  After the USAF I performed as a solo artist for several years around the Gulf Beaches of Florida.  I now reside in Nashville where I write, produce, pitch my material to the industry, and run Hobo Joe's Songwriters Cafe

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Yes, at various writers clubs in the Nashville area, including my own. Nashville writers clubs are great places to interact with other writers and "test" out your material.

Hey Gary,

I'm an ex-Mississippian Country singer who has lived and performed in Canada for a long time, but still misses Nashville. I was last there in 1982 for Fan Fair. But if I do get the chance to visit Nashville again, one thing I will do before leaving is make sure I have directions to Hobo Joe's.
I found your American Redneck Dream song on the same chart as one of my tunes. I'm a sucker for good titles, so I decided to give it a listen. Very well written and performed, and I love good steel guitar playing. I definitely want to see you perform live someday! I will be back to hear more songs sometime later.
