Galileo Soundarts
Eclectic Jazz Trio. We perform all original material. Our first CD recieved air play 1 month after it's release. We opened for Spyro Gyra within 3 months of our first live performance. Not a bad start eh?
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Galileo began writing compositions in 2003. Two years later they produced and published their first independent CD. "Earthbound" received airplay on the KQXT radio show "Sunday Morning Jazz" months before the first live performance.
'We had an interesting start. None of us had played a gig in over 15 to 20 years. Our first live gig was in July. Two months later we're playin' at the big Jazz Alive event downtown. 1 month after that we're opening for Steve Oliver and Spyro Gyra! This was probably our 6th or 7th LIVE gig."
We currently play live in San Antonio. Our playlist is all original. You can e-mail us here if your interested in a booking.
