Funhouse

Toronto, Canada
November 21, 2001
Step into the Funhouse and find out why these Toronto rockers had an overwhelming listener response from U.S. college radio with their first CD. On their second full-length CD, Silver Lining, the band continues in the same direction, with a few new twists courtesy of producer Steve Sherman. The band is made up of frontman/songwriter Clay Phillips (guitars, vocals), together with Steve Sherman (bass, production), and new band members Anthony Wintels (on drums) and Virginia Pappas (back-up vocals). Funhouse display a level of mature musicianship a definite cut above most independent acts. Their sound is driven by the passionate vocals, eloquent song writing and acoustic guitar work of Clay Phillips, while his three talented comrades provides the perfect complement. Funhouse have done the soundtrack for filmmaker Doug Patterson on his latest film "Oligopoly. The band will also be featured on No-cause Productions new film release date Nov 11, 2001.
