The final link in the Gimme My Powder Productions chain is I, Fungi. Underground Hip Hop at its finest right here. No need to look else where. Formerly known as Double C from the 101st Airbourne Production days I have undergone a change in the way I live, think, and act in everyday life. This is me now!! Fungi!! GMdoubleP!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started rapping as that cat Double C from 101st Airbourne Productions and was featured on a handfull of song on Kane 'Tha Hurri'Kane''. The first track I ever did was on that CD and was called 'Back On The Mic' wich became a classic track for us to do at live concerts. With 101st I also recorded the project Ritz 'Cause We Some Crackas' but that project was pushed back and set beside for the super-group from Milwaukee called 1848, which in the middle of recording a problem insued between Double C and the rest of 101st Airbourne. The Aftermath Double C on his own and 1848 removing Double C from the final cuts of the songs. I the recorded some misc tracks, that will remain unreleased for the album Double C "ME". Then in 2004 after a little break from the scene Double C emerges with the start of Gimme My Powder Productions, a beat production company and small time underground record lablel. Current projects include the Gimme My Powder Productions Compilation Volume 1, Powderslapped Tha Mixtape, Shabazz 'Promo? Demo? You Know!'. Then came the name change from Double C to Fungi. Why? Quoted:"I felt i was stabbed so hard in the back it killed Double C, it didnt feel right rapping anymore. I had to reinvent myself, Fungi fit!" Look for the debut album to dropp Fall or Winter of 2005!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
At the moment I am in the process of relocating my family over this summer so no shows as of this time. Once I am relocated watch for me to blow up the local scene, who knows maybee some other areas too, all depends on what the future will hold for me.

Music is my infulence. I listen to everything from Jedi Mind Trick to Marilyn Manson, Tech N9ne to Grateful Dead, Bob Marley to Pink Floyd, B.B.King to Miles Davis, Disturbed to Talib Kweli, Jimmi Hendrix to Eminem.
