Band/artist history
See our site www.Fruitcrackers.nl Our CD Papagaio was released in May 1995. At that time there were still LP Records, Cassette tapes, Betamax videos, milkbottles and many, many places to play live music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
After playing together for many many years there was a 'radio silence' were everybody devoted time to their own plans, careers, music and life. Now 2007 the group is back together again and Yes we will be performing 'en vivo'. Special moments: Too many to mention - we had a blast playing our steady 'gig' at the "New Game" That's were we could find out new ways of playing, recreate our material, invite guests and develop our groups sound.
Your musical influences
Elis Regina, Cal Costa, Gilberto Gil, Leny Andrade, Toots Thielemans Projects, Sergio Mendez, Manfredo Fest. And many 'Old School' Samba, Bossa Nova, Foro artists.
