friday night villain
“We take our silliness seriously,” sums up the attitude of Friday Night Villain. Friday Night Villain decided to take the inherent seriousness of most musical acts and turn it upside down with a fun mix of keys and rock ‘n’ roll. Instead of trying to be dark, or sad or angry, FNV decided to be fun and catchy. Rock 'n' roll is suppose to be fun!
During their short time as a band the members have had the opportunity to open for such national acts as SO MANY DYNAMOS (Skrocki Records), The Last Vegas(Get Hip Records), ICE NINE KILLS (Blue Red Records), and ANGRY CHAIR(the number 1 Alice in Chains tribute band in the world!) Also, FNV's track "Sweet Icing" was named the "Download of the Day" on iSOUND.com, and FNV was promptly ranked as the 1 band on iSOUND.com's Top 100 artists. The band outranked such acts as Soulja Boy, H.I.M., Bullet for my Valentine, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tila Tequilla, and Rick Springfield (yes, Rick Springfield).

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
FNV formed in early 2005, and has released one E.P. and one full length album. The new album was released in September of 2007, titled "ACHIEVE! ACHIEVE!" During our short time together, we've had the opportunity to open for several national recording artists, and tour all over the midwest.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
FNV plays all over the midwest with an ever-growing fanbase. Any stage of any size in front of any amount of music fans suits us just fine. Of course, any time we get to have a show in our hometown is a good time.
