I recorded the backing for this using virtual instruments in Cubase and then played the two lute parts over the top. The tune dates to around 1550 and was also called 'The hanging ballad'.

The slow movement of Vivaldi's lute concerto, played here on classical guitar. I recorded all the parts into Cubase, using virtual instruments for the strings & harpsichord and then recorded my classical guitar over the top.
