i dont know about influences, but my favorite music to listen to is probably old school rap (dr. dre, eric b. and rakim, common, epmd, etc), underground hip hop (little brother, murs), and tons of different modern rock/alternative type music. i enjoy the hip hop production of my old school favorites, 9th wonder, some kanye west, the neptunes, PETE ROCK, No ID (common's album "resurrection"), and a lot more.What equipment do you use?
