Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Freedom Sound formed in 1999, driven by a collected desire to CREATE, inspired by a love of GREAT MUSIC.
we spent days & nights honing their unique sound creating epic journeys, rock'n'soul soundscapes
Upon collectively moving to Nottingham from allaround, after spending a long time shilly-shallying about we met an aspiring vocalist.
we rescued Den (big heart) and started creating something tough 'n' lovely. Bigpsychedelicmashup bound by a rather terrific rhythm section and all wrapped up with Dens soulful longings and wishes
2 years ago we embarked on an extensive series of gigs getting critical acclaim from audiences and peers.
now we are looking to break out,to seek a wider audience.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yeah, at the moment we have been playing live in notts,Leicester,derby but want to break futher out, get our sound to as many as we can, because we think people will like it/love it/want it. i think we come across better live though we are starting to get it going recording wise

what works with us is the fact we are all into different things, from the verve,joy division,funkadilc,Steve wonder,the who,lift to experience,massive attack,spiritualized
i could go on, but when we come together we create and unload something quite unique, and good.
