Freedom Falls
We are a recent addition to the Rock Band scene in Cornwall, England UK , a 4 piece band and the line up is as follows, Haydon - Singer/Songwriter and Rythym guitarist, Alec - Lead guitarist , Ben - Drummer and Giles-Bass guitarist. We have a debut album out which consists of 10 tracks all written and produced by the Singer and recorded by the band in his home studio, we are featured on other sites and have won track of the day for one of the tracks called "Hero" on a well known American website. We have also recieved excellent reviews from people all over the world regarding outr songs and have won other awards such as best drums/beat/guitars/vocalist/mood and production. Our plans are to gig around building up our fanbase and recording another album later this year.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in April 2005 and gigging within a month of that supporting an American blues band called Glenn Kaiser and his band. Recorded a debut album in the summer of 2005 which was released in Nov 2005 , we have gigged around the Devon and Cornwall area and are all experienced musicians in our own right .
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play all our tracks live in the Devon and Cornwall area and want to get more gigs around the country or even world.
Your musical influences
The Who, Free, Led Zepellin , Pink Floyd and many , many other great rock bands of the era 1960 to the present day.
What equipment do you use?
Fender stratocasters and telecasters, Marshall, Pro amp, and !960's Impact amps , all mare british valve amps and driving 4x12 and 2x 12 cabs. The drummer has a Pearl Masters kit
