Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

Through trials and tribulations, perseverance and patience has paid off. A new, sonic, chaotic form of music has surfaced through the dimensions we know as our current society. This is known as FREAKCIRCLE.
The Freakcircle saga began in the summer of 1999 as bassist Eddie Jucius and guitarist Gabriel Hernandez found themselves looking into a bleak landscape known as the current state of rock music. In this desolate portrait of art they strived to construct a new world, one where elements of funk, rock, and blistering groove form the landscape. Thus began the inner workings of Freakcircle.
Soon after, in the fall of 1999 they were united with a drummer known as Skillet whose prowess on drums proved to be an integral force to the powerful music that Eddie and Gabriel created. Thus began the search for a vocalist: Enter one, Brendan Reynolds, an introspective and intelligent vocalist whose aggressive and melodic energy formed a unique bond with the music of Freakcircle. With this addition the circle began to take massive form. The music speaks for itself; it encompasses elements of funk, rock, hip-hop, and reckless abandon.
The end result is a pretty static that drowns out all else and forces the listener to ingest what cannot be denied. There was however, one more hurdle to be conquered. Alas, our drummer was not to stay with Freakcircle for the duration of our journey. Hence, we sought another, and found, in the fall of 2001, a musical mastermind. He is a man who can hold down the beat like no other. Those who know him, call him Jonas, and those who do not, call him the best drummer they have ever seen. The circle is now complete, and nothing shall stop its growth. Strike in mechanical methods, circular knowledge organizes fate.
Freakcircle has been featured on the Farmclub television show as well as showcased in venues from Hollywood to the South Bay area. Their live shows are a swirling mass of frenetic energy that displays limitless aggressive and melodic songwriting skills. One must witness this reconstruction in person to fully understand what lies in the other dimension.

We play live at venues from Hollywood to South Bay to Ventura, anywhere! We have a great following in Hollywood and have had killer shows at The Coconut Teaszer, Troubadour, Dragonfly, The Joint, The Gig, 14 Below and more.
Your musical influences
Our sound can best be described as a cross between the Chili Peppers and Tool. We have influnces from Sabbath, Rush, Pink Floyd, to Punk, Hardcore, and old school funk. Basically if it's a real true source, we'll check it! We have a unique new sound that really focuses on each other's ability to create grooving, destructive music. We don't need any gimmicks to sell our music, no DJ's, No samples, no bullshit!
