Four Star Romance
Hey we are a FOUR piece Shrewsbury based band, we formed about a month or two ago (march some time), The band is: Nick Morgan (guitar and lead vocals), Kinley Hoepstine (poncho wearing bass and backing vocals), Sam Quayle (guitar and backing vocals) and Matt Quayle (drums). We recorded our first E.P (finger on the trigger) on the 15th may 2004 which consists of FOUR tracks including one acoustic, all of which are our own. We haven't got many, if any, gigs in june due to exams but hopefully we will be playing a lot more in the summer months,

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Basically it all started in March of this year (2004), most of them (Kin, Sam and Nick) knew each other from school, Nick (guitar/lead vocals) and Kin (Bass/ backing vocals) were in a band prior to this, Sam (guitar/backing vocals) and Nick met at a local gig and within a week or so decided to have a practise. Matt Quayle (drums, Sam's brother), already in a cover band came along as did Kinley Hoepstein and within two weeks played their first gig at the Buttermarket, Shrewsbury in a college band night, although some technical difficulties the response was generally possotive. So 5 practises and about the same number of gigs later in May they headed into the studio to record a four track E.P (Finger on the trigger).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live. In the short time we've been together we've played a handful of gigs in places such as.. The Haygate and Millhouse in Telford, The Ministry and Buttermarket in Shresbury all the way to Lichfield near Birmingham
