Fourmyle Circus
Fourmyle Circus are a five-piece band from the Wigan area. Fourmyle are best known for exploring and incorporating various different styles and genres into their own music to create a sound that provides a rollercoster ride of intensity for the listener. The ride evolves from song to song and Fourmyle are known to portray elements of progressive, experimental and technical music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band formed in late 2010 as a project between guitarist Mark Holcroft and drummer Brett Coop. After practicing and recording a handful of ideas using audio plug-ins to compensate for the lack of members the band started to spread their music over the internet using bandcamp and soundcloud.
Keyboardist Sam Dickenson later joined Fourmyle and began implementing his own blend of chaotic electronica and subtle ambience to the mix as well as acting as a sampler. Over the following months the band tried and tested various different line-ups and finally agreed on welcoming gig-experienced bassist Jimmy Foster and vocalist Sam Foster to Fourmyle Circus.
Fourmyle moved to a larger practice space shortly afterwards and have dedicated the majority of their time towards refining their sound and tightening up their live act. Their fierce determination and total disregard towards artistic compromise show that Fourmyle Circus are truly a force to be reckoned with. THe band are currently preparing for their debut gig at Manchester Club Academy on the 21st of october.
