Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Foul Stench formed in 1990 with the original line-up of King Stench (vocals), Rotting Limb (bass), and Smushed Cranium (drums). We partied and drank and did shows and as time passed Rotting Limb departed from the line-up. We went through a couple different line-ups and then ended up with Rotten Innards (lead guitar) and Bone Shrapnel (bass).
We finally put out our first demo ("Jizmark") in 1993. Even though we didn't have a van, we managed to make it to different parts of the states. We are from Dayton Ohio, and were serious about our music. We sing about sex, drugs, and metal! We are fairly known all over the world we have been on many compilation demos and many zines, and radio stations in the mid 90's. In 1994 Foul Stench became a trio again with King Stench, Smushed Cranium, and Rotting Limb and released a 6 song demo ("Original Recipe").
Years passed, and Foul Stench did nothing. We went our own separate ways playing in different bands. Now we have regrouped after many years and are bringing it back.
We have a new drummer (Stool Sample) and he has added a whole new sound to the Foul Stench sound, and we will be releasing new a 9 song cd by the end of April. We'll be re-releasing our old demos into c.d. format and have found old music that we never released before.
