Foster Project
Foster Project is what Metal was and where Metal is going. Our formula is made up of four seperate engines. Dan Foster-Drums,Cat Villareal- guitar, Tim Gee-Bass and Dan Escamilla on vocals.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Foster Project was started by San Antonio's smoking gun, Dan Foster in 2002 with Axeman, Cat Villareal after Dan leaving Bone Heavy. After writing together for 7 months they brought in Bassist extrordinair, Tim Gee to give the Project punch and groove. Tim also contibuted to the writing.of The Project was only lacking a vocalist. Thanks to (Manny the man Santos) the project was recording a demo in which a 3 song demo landed into the hands of Dan Escamilla of Bone Heavy and was now the voice of the project. It wasn't long and the demo was complet.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Our live performances entrap the listener using a fascinating concept. We are currently working on a full ep and have just finished our frist 3 song demo "PUNISHED BY METAL".
Your musical influences
Foster Project has many influences. Everything from UFO to Queensryche to Overkill. We are very melodic and intense while keeping it heavy as it should be.
