Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We are Forgotten Tomorrow. We get on well with each other and are a solid unit. Like a family. The story goes; The end of 2003, Derek and Wilson had always wanted to get a band together, but hadn't because Wilson hadn't been playing bass very long. Eventually, after more practice and honing his skills down, he and Derek decided to go ahead and start a band. So it was Wilson and Derek and when deciding on who would be a good candidate for drumming for Forgotten Tomorrow, Ross came to mind as both knew him. Ross was asked and he agreed straight away. So we had a band. However, Derek wasn't so confident with just the one guitarist, so Wilson approached Andy, having gone to school with him and he came on board straight away.
Matt was introduced to the band, having been in a band with Derek before, he seemed right for the spot. But disagreements led to his departure, however. Forgotten Tomorrow was back at square one... so Andy decided that he would take take on vocal duties while playing rythmn guitar.
We were a four-piece for a short while until eventually the idea sprung that a new member could be introduced. So Andy approached another friend from school, David and asked if he would be interested in joining the band.
They have since written new songs and played gigs together.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played in several venues in Glasgow and East Kilbride.
Memorable moments; probably when Andy got banned from the Cathouse for hitting the sound guy with water.
