No band here. Only my six-string and I. My vocals aren't the best and my guitar isn't the best either, but together I'm hoping I can learn to make some music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've got a pretty interesting history as far as my music goes actually.
I grew up listening to the Greats...Bob Dylan, all the Outlaws, Bruce, Guns 'n' Roses...You know. I really always enjoyed the music until I hit my teens. I decided to rebel and got into rap music. I was never really very good, but it helped me realize what kind of music I really wanted to do.
Now, I've made a full circle and I'm going to do what I'm supposed to be doing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played a few online sessions live.
Your musical influences
Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Bruce Springsteen, Guns n Roses, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Gyllene Tider, Cornelius...everything and everyone worth anything.
What equipment do you use?
Right now I'm using a Shure SM57 Acoustic microphone and a MXL990 Vocal microphone and feeding the sound into the computer with a M-Audio USB Interface.
Anything else?
