For All Money
We are For All Money or Tha F.A.M. for short. The group is 4 people: Golden Child, Frozen Wordz, J-Roc, and Los. We based outta Columbus, Ohio and plan to get the city jumpin' real soon. Look for the name.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The group started while we were all in high school. Me(G.C.) and Froze had always done music togther since we were in the 8th grade. Froze later introduced me to Roc and Los in high school and we just clicked and started the group. We also had a fifth member by the name of Young L, but he moved back home to Pittsburgh and left us with four. Our group was originally called "Tha League" but we found out that it was already taken so we changed it. We also released a self-titled independent cd back when I was in the 11th grade. Currently we are working on another group album entitled "Suit Up" which should be out early 2005. I have also just released my solo album which I recorded while being in school entitled "Young & Restless"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Me, Golden Child has performed many places while goin' to college at Ohio University. Shows include opening for 2 Live Crew and Krazie Bone. Performin' is one of my favority things to do because I feel so comfortable on stage and I know how to work a crowd.
Your musical influences
Our music is probably a mix of midwest with a lil' bit of east coast in it. We are based outta Columbus, Ohio which is midwest, although J-Roc is from Chicago(midwest) and Lost is from Michigan(midwest). So we would consider our music Midwest but we have many influences.
