An original style probably influenced by mythic bands like Pixies, Cure, Pavement, Fugazi, Nirvana, Clash, Gun Club, Gang of Four, etc.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Guitarists/Singers mOOshrOOm and frAncheSs used to play in a pop-noisy band called Stanley's Boutique in the mid 90s in College. With Lo_Fi (a house music expert - sold a few thousands house albums in the US - and rock fan) they created the FULLROYAL! project (started out a triphop then electropop and finally electrorock project : http://www.virb.com/fullroyal)...
Looking for more of a "live!" sound, they hired master drummer deNiCe and there it is, since feb 2006 : inspired by both heavy and punk classic bands with a dash of pop, mOOshrOOm, fRanCheSs, Lo_Fi and deNice are proud to present FOOTCLAPPING APES.
