Fool On Dem Beats
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Young A (FoolOnDemBeats) started making music about 11 years ago and has been on point ever since. He started out using computer software programs such as Cakewalk, Fl studio, and Reasons. After producing his first compilation CD called Tha New Breed, which sold about 300 to 400 copies underground. He decided that he could make this music thing work after all. He started trying to get a name for his label which was later called Chozen Few Records. Young A has been on his grind ever since the completion of his first CD. He now has a CD out called Untouchables that is available on www.cdbaby.com/cd/chozenfew Since then he has produced music for his team and a few local people around the way. His team consist Young A, Artist/ Producer, Snakeeyes who only lives to do music and nothing else, and Troll Who is the fast spitter in the group. With this trio they have decided to bring a new flavor to the industry. The South, East, and West all rolled up in one. Why this name? Well i didn't choose my name it kinda came from Troll, We are all in the military and we reside in Cali cause of it.. since i'm from Atlanta every time we do a song or something he would be like Young Atlanta a fool on them beats, so i kinda took it and ran with it. How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? The internet is free promotion, and gives people a chance to hear you before they start asking or you start sending demos. Would you still sign a record contract with a major label? yes I would if they are about good business an not about jerking you. Favorite spot? Of course my hometown Atlanta What Gear You Use...? I use a Mpc-100, Korg Tr, Korg Ns5r sound module, Radium 49 Keyboard controller, Alesis Compressor, Behringer 1202 mixer, Numark Pt-01 record player, m-audio interface, Planet phatt sound module, and a lexicon digital effects processor.. Plus I still have my Reasons 3.0 and Fl studio 5 Anything else...? Yeah, if you really wanna do music just know that there's gonna be people that hate you for what you accomplish. So just keep doing it and if you make it big remember to holla at the haters that influenced you to keep going.
