Flowtastic
The magic of Flowtastic was invoked in the year (2008) when two friends met up in a cellar studio. Rap sessions in the cellar began on a light note, without any bigger plans. Everything changed after the Beats & Sounds hiphop and r’ n’ b review, in which the group was successful right up to the finale.
Flowtastic was noticed in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and gig dates started pouring in steadily. Nowadays this multicultural group consists of two members (Rickyboy & Jazzee) who rap in English and have been praised for their energetic performances across Finland.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Our bio pretty much says it all. Group formed in the year (2008) and still going active (2010).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Flowtastic does alot of performances in Finland at the moment, 2009 managed to do about 40+ performances around Finland and 2010 hoping to do more and hopefully abroad. Performing is a kind of joy and as Michael Jackson stated; ''on the stage I feel i'm home''.
Your musical influences
Our musical influences are sounds, effects and nature voices from outside, also we are influenced by all types of styles ''techno, rock, hip hop, reggaeton, dancehall, afrobeat, instrumental, jazz'' etc.
