WELCOME! TO RECEIVE UPDATES ON THE BAND AND SHOW DATES VIA EMAIL, PLEASE SIGN UP FOR OUR MAILING LIST. IT'S FAST, EASY, AND FUN...O.K...MAYBE NOT FUN, BUT IT'S FAST AND EASY. KIND OF LIKE OUR DRUMMER, JACK.
From the ashes of Vancouver's Hog Fuel and Twelve Bolt, comes the hard rock meets alternative sound of Floorboard.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in the summer of '04. Jack "the hammer" Boyanton (drums) is one of those hated California transplants. Russ "the razor" Olmstead, the youngest of the trio, came out of the womb with a guitar in hand, but put it down almost immediately and didn't pick it back up until the day before yesterday, which makes him something of a phenom. Chris "Hairy" Mann grew up under the toxic cloud of the Camas Mill and while not quite brain-dead, he spends most practices --and the better part of most shows-- working on a ten year old crossword puzzle. As for the latest member, singer Jerry, we don't know anything about him. He just showed up one day and picked up a mic and won't go away. He has kicked all of our asses so we can't make him.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have played Porky's Pub, Portsmouth, Ash Street, Sabala's, Arnada Cafe, Satyricon...
