Flip Top is from Champaign/Urbana, IL. The band has been together for 2 years and growing. The bands main focus is on original material, although they have been known to throw in covers at live performance. Their debut CD, Badass Apparatus, displays their ability to blend multiple genres into one distinct sound.

We haven't played live for close to a year, but are currently expanding our gig list to play shows locally in CU for 2002.

The bands CD, Badass Apparatus, was recorded and produced by themselves. It was recorded over the months of July/September of 2001 in their practice studio. All mixing, editing, digital arrangements and artwork were completed by Eric Gross (bassist). Input from other band members (except Brendan) was used in producing and measuring quality of the overall disc.
