i do everything myself w/ pro tools in my den. sometimes we'll have live tracks from the garage set-up. i love music and i love to expiriment with different styles and vary in 'sound'.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
it all started back in the younger years of middle school...
We called ourselves "Pooch," which consisted of Johnny Dead on Vox, Leroy on bass, yours truley on geetar, and justin grubbs on drums. we weren't standing for anything but hating the french and thrash hardcore... we loved to sing "roadrunner," haha...
Eventually I urged us to write more music. I really got into writing confusing lyrics and melotic grungey songs. It was then we called ourselves the "Burning Monks" which evolved into "the MOnk Ate FUnk."
Now a days im working on my own indie music. I hope to get better at the recording aspect of it. :/
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
only play live at parties and jam fests. haha. i'd love to start if i had a band..
Your musical influences
the eras of music....ahh. i hate genres.... ok.
I have to sa;y the 90's, politics, government, freinds, places, beds, floors, faces, paper, books about revolt and sciences, lunitics, family, girls, drugs, old folk generations; from hippies to punks...i live life my way.
What equipment do you use?
fender guitars and old dusty acoustic treasure axes.
I use a fender practic amp and a Kustom floor stage amp for times when i feel like screaming. hah...
Anything else?
