Fleshcoat
Fleshcoat is an interesting collection of personalities and musical influence. Centering around a melodic song structure, the catchy grooves and two different vocal styles really become a variety not always available with most Alternative Metal bands. The drummer Scott Hadley lost most movement in his left arm following a snowmobile accident over 10 years ago but it actually forced him to become the most creative and talented one armed drummers in the world. His raw vocal style is one of the options of this very talented band. The guitarist and other vocalist is Matt Hitt who has been writing and recording for more than 15 years and has been involved with drummer Scott Hadley for more than 6 years with various projects. The bass position is held down by the artistic piece known as Wombstick who not only does all of the bands CD artwork and photography, but is one of the best melodic bass players in the area. Finally on keyboards is Scarlett Divinity, a college educated poet that enjoys sampling many hard to find movies and arguments between her neighbors. This package known as Fleshcoat covers the grey area between Alternative rock, Metal, Art-rock, Punk and radio friendly groove with a little edge to cut through the common ground that has been layed to rest with "filler" bands.
