Flat Cat plays a diverse high energy musical stew seasoned by New Orleans Funk, Memphis Soul, San Fran Free Rock, and Iowa Polka thrown in to keep us on our toes. We are driven hard by a family of percussionist known as "The Irish Drums of Passion" Three bothers who bang on anything they can get their mits on. Vocals are handled by "The Round Mound With The Soulful Sound". . Flat Cat has shared the stage with Chubby Carrier, Lonnie Brooks, Joanna Connor, Merl Saunders,and some of the finest musicians the MidWest has to offer.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1994 was the beginning of our musical journey that started as accoustic jams around full moon campfires evolving into a more funk oriented groove as we experimented with electricity.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are a "LIVE" band . We play often, long, hard, fiery sets. We love interacting with a live bunch. Gets our blood flowing.
