Everybody is talking about changing the game, what’s really the point to any of that as long as you are still playing the game? I don’t want to be different, I don’t want to be the hardest, most gangsta, I just want to be honest. At the end of the day, I want every album to be a true representation of where I am artistically and well as spiritually etc. I don’t want every album I make to be the same either, I just want them to show a person growing up, dealing with life and otherwise surviving.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I mainly play in the GTA, the people here are just bananas, what can I say? Toronto is my city.
Your musical influences
I grew up on rap city and electric circus, but it kinda pissed me off that much would always cut to the crowd when my favourite parts of the video came on. That’s were my style and influence came from, it’s like when you raise kids, you gotta teach em right from wrong young and all that stuff, So my hip-hop comes from N.W.A., Maestro, Eric B and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane but most importantly from my brothers, that’s were I inherited a lot of my good and bad traits, just me and them 24 hours a day you know? My Brother Courtney Had Walls full of posters from Word up, and all those other magazines. So that’s were hip-hop will always be for me.
Anything else?
