First On Mars
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Raised on an unhealthy diet of Blink 182 and Green Day, the members of
FIRST ON MARS had catchy melodies instilled in their musical veins from a very early age. From these beginnings, FIRST ON MARS matured their sound to include a medley of influences derived from each of the members. Each new song reflects a different dimension of their musical interests that are endlessly expanding. While every song is characterized by supple vocal harmonies and catchy melodies that hook you like a drug, each song has its own unique feel. The bands set can best be described as a love affair between The Starting Line and Mest, with a light sprinkling of New Found Glory, to create one delicious FIRST ON MARS.
FIRST ON MARS has an incredible passion for playing music. The band radiates this passion. As the third song on their newly recorded EP goes “We rock like this together, suspend in the flow forever, and never let go, never let go, never ever let go.” All of the band’s lyrics are heartfelt and emotional. They conspire with the intensely harmonious instruments to create an orgy of delight.
