Firewheel
Firewheel is a Funk Rock/ Jazz Fusion band from Dallas Texas. We have four members who are dedicated to reintroducing the art of Jamming that has been lost in today's music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Nathan Huse and Brooks Huse are twin brothers. They started playing music together back in 9th grade. Nathan played guitar and Brooks played the drums and percussion. Soon after they picked up Matt Canning who played bass guitar. They went through numourous lead guitarist before desiding to fill the lead spot with an old friend "Fat" Mike. He played saxaphone. This completed the firewheel sound as it is today. All of the members are currently enrolled in colleges around the country, but unite over the summer to tour and hit the studio.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Most of the clubs in deep ellum in Dallas, and in Fortworth. We have recently started playing shows in chicago as well.
