Firethree16 is not merely what we call a band. It is a movement upon w/c we carry the cause of the church to promote God's Kingdom and making God famous.
We believe that every christians has their heart burning and desiring to love Jesus and share his gospel to others and through music, our means to reach the hearts of the young and old, salvation is spread to the world.
The persons behind the music of firethree16 indulge themselves listening to various genres of music particularly: funk, jazz, ska, reggae, alternative rock, celtic music and more.
We believe that putting these influences into one jar of music and creating a brand of music that we can offer first and foremost to our God as a form of cause, mission, and most...worship.Band/artist history
First, it started within our church (Jesus Is Lord Chruch: La Union) as a pilot project for raising funds for our church to reach people in the year 2005. We somewhat choose from the church members who has the passion to serve God and at the same time has a commitment to make the project realized.
But, unfortunately, due to time constraint and availability of the other members and the lack of fund to make push through with the project to make an album, only four members pursue the dream.
This is composed of Gilbert Arcala as the frontman and bassist of the team. He is the leader of the team who is very dedicated in making the project and not to mention a man of God in one of the churches of Jesus Is Lord in La Union. Oliver Canete, is one the guitarist who has a passion to share his musical prowess to the team. The next is Erick Tria, the team's song writer. He wrote most of the songs in Firethree16 and the one who drives the team to its focus in the said project. Lastly is, Joeffrey Arcala, the brother of Gilbert who is versatile and talented in making drum beats and patterns. He is the team's driving force and a dedicated man.
In 2008, they first released a 6 track album called "Shouting from the desert". An independent released album. It is a pilot project made for the Jesus Is Lord Church:La Union as an income-generating project to support church activities.
In 2009, the team is busy preparing for their next album.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, we play live and participated in dozens of Summits, Crusades and most recently, the Breakthrough concerts in our area.

Athough the band listens to Hillsong music, David Crowder band, Lincoln Brewster, Audio Adrenalin, Switchfoot, Jars of Clay,Delirious and other christian artists; they do not limit themselves listening to other influences such as: U2, Red hot chili peppers, 311, Bloc Party, Pearl Jam and others.What equipment do you use?
Gilbert Arcala uses Jazz Bass Guitars plugged in a Hartke Amps.
Oliver Canete uses Fender Squier MIK guitars and Washburn rock guitar
He uses Zoom3030, Zoom G1, DOD Hard Rock Distortion pedals.
Erick Tria uses 1952RI Fender Telecaster Micawber Replica, Fender Tele Squier California series, Fender Tele MIK.
