Final Indecision

Final Indecision is a unique blend of very different styles of music. We have been compared to Stevie Nicks, Heart, Faith Hill, with a touch of the Eagles thrown in. Some of the songs are an acoustic blend of melody and rhythm that captivate you with the awesome lyrics & vocals of Jami Asselin. Other tunes are more straight ahead rock & roll and a few could even cross over into the "new" country genre just a bit. Sean's bluesy guitar licks almost throw some of the songs into the blues category, and the touch of mandolin reflects the bluegrass influences of Brian. One of the songs, The Change, kind of has a Pink Floyd vibe! None of the songs sound the same. They are as different as the members in the band. That's what makes Final Indecision so unique.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As a producer, I heard the demos of this band, and they were looking for a drummer to complete their band. I happen to play drums and when I heard the early demos I was blown away with what I heard. It was differnt, yet familiar. Very unique sound, It was rock, but it had a mandolin in it. It reminded me of the Eagles a bit, but with a female vocalist. Having come from a hard/progressive rock background, I was amazed how much I liked the music. I joind the band and we began taking the songs and develping them into what they are now. People that were hearing the music were freaking out to get a copy of the songs. So I called up Dennis Winkle at Drum Guy Productions, a friend of mine, and we set up his mobile adat recording gear and started tracking. After mixing with Addison Steel who has worked with everyone from Elton Johns Band to Kenny Arnoff, and mastering with Bill Bruce (formerly of Shotgun Messiah) at Appleton studios we were done with the CD. So that pretty much gives you how we got to where we are. We are planning a few gigs this summer in the Southwest MO area. So watch our site www.finalindecision.com for updates.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

Anything else?
We recorded this CD so we could capture what the band is about musically. We have a lot more songs in the works and are excited to see how this first CD is received. We wanted to have a finished CD before we went out and played live a lot. That way if people like it they can pick up a CD and we can share the music to more people and hopefully develop our following quicker. So far about 95% of the people that have heard it, Love it. several cuts have already been played in our area on the Radio. They are real easy to listen to songs and very radio friendly. Jami has an amazing voice and we have some very talented musicians. That is part of the reason I decided to produce the CD and play in the band. I heard the chemistry and Jami's vocal ability and said, this is something new fresh and different and I think it has lots of potential. We hope you enjoy the music as much as we enjoyed bring it to you!
