Band/artist history
Mike (guitar) had a friend in high school named Steve. After graduation, Steve moved to Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, Mike attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood where he met Charles (bass). In Pennsylvania, Steve joined a band with Bill (vocals) and John (drums). Later, Bill and John moved to Los Angeles and joined up with Mike and Charles. They played covers a bit and then for a while, the band was inactive. They got back together and decided to play originals. Final Gravity is the result.

What equipment do you use?
Mike plays a John Petrucci signature model Music Man guitar through a Mesa Boogie power amp and cabinets. Effects and pedals include TC Electronics.
Charles favors a Warwick Katana bass through a Line 6 Bass POD XT Live and Trace Elliot amplification.
John plays DW drums and Paiste cymbals.
Bill has his trusty Takamine acoustic gutiar, but mainly sings.
