Figures of Speech is a Brooklyn, NY based rap group that originated in November 2008. All three members of Figures Of Speech, or F.O.S. met in the same high school. F.O.S is composed of three MC's with amazing lyrical talents. S.I.N, The Lyrical God, uses raw emotion and biting wit paired with a sophisticated vocabulary and repetitive sounds in his rhymes. Kanibal is an aggressive yet brilliant lyricist who packs his verses with numerous punch lines to grab the listener's attention. Snooze is the cool, laid back, sweet talking ladies man who uses his smooth voice to mesmerize the ears of his listeners. S.I.N and Snooze had previously been in the rap group Blood Thirsty Animals but when conflicts arose, S.I.N and Snooze realized they had to mature and split from the group if they wanted to pursue their music career professionally. It was only then when they drafted Kanibal as one of their own and made a new rap group, Figures of Speech. People in the past have tried to corrupt the group by attempting to dictate their writing topics and their beat selections. At the end of the day, F.O.S. refused be oppressed and stood strong to their decisions. Figures of Speech will never stop making their music, excelling lyrically each day.
