Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
started writing lyrics at about 13, started spittin to small crowds and getting my name about when i was about 14 and been recording since I was 15, back in '05. I represent myself, i've worked closely with a couple of artists from my area but nowadays I just do music on my own, not many collaborations.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
done like one or 2 sets not much really. biggest crowd was about 200 ppl. I cant get sets in my area
Your musical influences
i listen 2 alot of music genres, i'd say my flow is quite grimey but my content is inspired by real life issues. my fave artists are devlin, immortal technique, skinnyman, foreign beggars, klashnekoff.. artists that arent mainstream but are real
What equipment do you use?
i make beats now and again on fruity loops xxl 7 producer edition. got me a SE 2200e condenser mic, and I record using cooledit, its old but still ive used it now for 5 years. I dont use recording studios. i just sit in my room, pad & pen, and make magic.
Anything else?
Yeah.. ive made over 100 songs so far but the last 2 years ive been slackin on recording. I write everyday but im a busy woman nowadays. im at university right now but ive got so many songs written up, and im slowly recording em.
I'm bringin out a free mixtape "They Don't Know" and i've been working on it for 12 months now, none of the tracks are featured on my soundclick or my myspace, they are all exclusive to the mixtape and it will be free on download as well as cd. Got a few more songs to record for it, and need to re-record some parts, but i'm planning to release it by my 21st birthday in may (2010)
