and stays active in the jazz community playing bass with the Clockwork Jazz Consortium. He also sings and plays guitar with Jr. Pride and duet shows with keyboardist Jayson Starkey.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Fernando started his first rock band in 1995, Fatsoul, where he played rhythm guitar. Fatsoul was very active in the north Texas music scene and built quite a following. This is when Fernando first played the music of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Black Crowes and Grand Funk Railroad, more importantly this is where he discovered his musical voice. Time has brought other bands and musical experiences, Hagg Circus, Dr. Stuff and currently Jr. Pride have all attributed to the vision he has today.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We currently play live at several different venues. Our live shows are always quite enjoyable, and we enjoy the people that come out to see us play!
