Fermata

We are a rock band and we are fairly new to the music buisiness but we have all been playing our instruments for quite some time. The recordings we have aren't the best quality but they will improve because we will be going into a studio soon.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Fermata is a 3-piece Rock band consisting of Ken Rott (Guitar/Vocals) Ben Wiegold (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Tony Watkins (Drums/Backing Vocals) Fermata has just entered the musical realm within the past month. Local Napervillian Ken Rott contacted Tony Watkins(local Aurora drum God) to jam with them in early april 2005. "From the first rehearsal i knew that we had our man" says Ken, "He just came in, sat down, and we ran through a few tunes me and Ben were working on and it just clicked, the guy is a total monster on drums!" Ken met Ben during their seventh grade geography class in 2002. "We never really did much besides goof around and talk about guitars, but then when we started hanging around later that year we realized we could actually have something." Ken said. Drummer Tony Watkins was first seen by Ken when he walked into his eighth grade reading class after moving from England. "He looked awesome, he had this cool jacket with red spikey hair, and earring, and he reminded me of Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols." says Ken. When Tony moved about 15 minutes away to Aurora Illinois and started going to a different school, they lost touch with the drum hero. But late in their freshman year of highschool, when Ken and Ben were getting serious about their music, Ken got in touch with Tony again and Fermata was born. From there on, it's only bright things in store for our heroes.
