Felix Weber
Felix Weber is a producer, composer and arranger. His body of work spans from contemporary pop and R&B to gospel, classical and film music. As a native of Germany, Weber worked in Europe for 20 years until he relocated to the USA.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
- I worked as a writer for Sony for a couple of years and later for Warner Chappel. Also worked with with BUDDE Publishing and BMG in Germany.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've been on the road as a keyboard player from 1977 to 1988 with different German bands but eventually 'morphed' into a studio guy. These days I occasionally play live just for fun.
Your musical influences
I'm basically influenced by just about anything. My "heroes" are David Foster, Jeremy Lubbock, Alan Silvestri and Frederic Chopin.
