Fear the Reaper
New band hailing from Marrero, Louisiana. Just a few miles from " The Party Capital" New Orleans, Louisiana. Fear the Reaper will switch the directional flow of today's rock music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Fear the Reaper was the brainchild of John and Jiles . John (guitar) had been playing guitar for a couple of years and Jiles was looking to form a band. Jiles (bass) had a few friends in mind, but that didn't workout and he moved to the country.
When Jiles returned home, he was amazed that John had still wanted to form a band. In the meantime, Akira (drums) a former marching corps drummer was also looking to form a band and had written about 7 full songs and lyrics.
A piece of the puzle was missing, a singer was needed. Akira remember a sexy singer she had met a few months back. Josh (vocals) was a young and promising singer that could sing anything from R&B to Metal.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are working on a five song demo before we play live, so that we can give them away. We do have a small taste of what the band has to offer. Our first song March of Kings. Check it out.
