Fathomless One

Fathomless 1 has proven the UK is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to rap. A long time follower of the Hip Hop culture had started Djing and breaking before concentrating solely on being an MC. He is a conscious MC using his life experiences and views on the world around him to inspire his lyrics. Not having the easiest upbringing he used this as an alternative, refusing to be a product of his environment. Turning away from street battles and freestyles, he honed his skills on song constructing and arrangement, which will explain the catchy nature of his songs. His songs are ones people can relate to and are often singing along to when he is performing live. He has a loyal following at live shows and has been an opening act for some of the industries finest. Names such as Kanye West, 112, Lloyd and Chingy, have been shows where he has done his thing. Has also worked and supported the UK's best Giggs (BET BEST UK ACT), Sway (Konvict Music), Skinnyman, Genesis Elijah DJ Tim Westwood and more. He has also been a regular presence on the mixtape circuit, featuring on mixtapes with DJ Drama, Chuck T, DJ Woogie, The Fleet DJ's and DJ Holiday to name a few. A lot of which has been through a working relationship with Award winning Mixtape DJ Ames. He has also featured regularly on World Renown mixtapes such as the Coast2Coast mixtape series. Fathomless 1 has also featured on both local, National and Worldwide radio, receiving rave reviews from listeners and DJ's alike. He likes to give back to the community where he's from, working with kids and community music projects. He has also been a spokesperson for causes such as World Aids Day, Holocaust memorial and Black History Month. Vettie P. recently reached out to Fathomless 1 and signed him to ATG Records. The album 'Born Ready' is due out late 2010 and is promised to be breath of fresh air to the hip hop game. He has been named by some industry people the UK's answer to Common. Other comparisons made are Dr Dre, Immortal Technique among others. Though his subject matter is deep, he has an undeniable swagger and the awesome ability to rock a crowd wherever he is. I play live all the time. Special moments have come supporting more established artists and DJ's especially ones I grew up listening to. I have supported artists such as Kanye West, Lloyd and others. My favourite moment was being on stage with 112 when they dropped a version of 'Mo Money Mo Problems' by Biggie. The whole place erupted quoting Biggie word for word that was awesome.
